The Footring Collection is a new collection of specialised texture tools that decorate the underside of your work while forming a centred foot ring in one simple press.
 
Octopus's Garden celebrates one of the ocean's most fascinating creatures. Inspired by vintage natural history illustrations, eight flowing tentacles curl organically around the centred foot ring, creating movement, balance and generous negative space. The design is bold enough to make a statement while remaining clean and elegant once impressed into clay.
 
Unlike a traditional texture, the Footring Collection is created specifically for the underside of bowls and platters. As the clay is pressed into the EVA, the centre opening forms a substantial, perfectly positioned foot, ready as is for a subtle functional foot, or used as the perfect guide for adding your own coiled or extruded foot ring.
 
The result is a beautifully finished underside that feels considered from every angle.

How To Use
Roll evenly into soft slab clay using consistent pressure.
If clay is too damp, dust with talc or cornstarch.
A small amount of dark residue may appear during the first few uses as part of the laser production process. This burns out completely during firing.
 
Because beautiful pottery deserves a beautiful underside.
