Build layered feature surfaces with a modular EVA texture system designed to be mixed, matched, and recomposed across countless variations.
 
The Gothic Modular System combines three interchangeable components:
a repeating gothic damask ground texture
a collection of ornate framing elements
a set of mini focal motifs including crow, moth, and mushroom designs (ref the pictures to see how the minis compare to the standard sized focal stamps)
 
Use the elements individually for subtle surface detail, or layer them together to create richly composed feature mugs, trays, dishes, lanterns, wall pieces, and small sculptural forms.
 
Unlike rigid texture materials, EVA foam has a slight give, allowing multiple elements to be stacked and pressed together cleanly. Frames can sit over patterned grounds, and focal motifs can be layered into compositions without fighting the underlying texture — opening up a huge range of creative possibilities from a single set.

Why EVA?
Magpie Texture Co. textures are made from high-density EVA foam, chosen for its crisp impressions, clean release, and slight flexibility. That flexibility allows modular layering techniques that are difficult to achieve with rigid stamps or rollers.
