Heirloom Egg is a decorative focal accent with a decorative heritage style pattern designed to read clearly on functional work — especially mugs, small trays, keepsake tiles, and feature areas on bowls or vases.
Use it as a single imprint, or stamp two impressions and join them to form a complete egg shape. It’s ideal for layering over a lightly textured ground, placing inside a framed area, or repeating as a small set motif across multiple pieces.
Because the pattern is fine and detailed, it rewards even pressure and a careful peel for clean results.
How to use
Best used on soft clay.
Press evenly across the whole stamp to capture the full pattern, then peel the edges back toward the centre before lifting off completely.
If you’re working with a very fine design like this, lightly dust the clay surface first — or use the stamp once so a little residual clay builds up and helps it release cleanly on future impressions.
Works well as:
a focal on a mug wall
a feature panel on a vase or pitcher
a repeating element across a dinnerware set (e.g., one egg per plate or bowl for a cohesive “set language”)
Details
Laser-engraved EVA foam focal stamp.
Size: 9 cm × 6.5 cm
A dark residue may transfer to clay on first use. This is laser residue and will burn out completely during firing.
Care
Clean with mild soap and a soft brush.
Allow to dry fully before storing flat.
Designed as part of a system
Heirloom Egg is part of the Magpie Focal Accent range — a collection of standalone elements designed to layer seamlessly with Magpie full-sheet textures, feature panels, and dinnerware masks.
Use it on its own, pair it with a textured ground, or frame it using templates to repeat placement across sets such as mugs, bowls, vases, or serving ware.
