A composition-led texture design created for making a coordinated handmade pitcher within the Iris Collection.

The Iris Collection Pitcher extends the botanical surface language of the table setting set into a taller vessel format, allowing potters to create a pitcher, jug, or pouring form that belongs naturally alongside the wider Iris Collection.

The composition has been intentionally arranged to suit a pitcher form, giving the surface movement and botanical detail without relying on a simple repeat texture. It creates a more authored result while still allowing flexibility for scale, cropping, handle placement, glazing, and individual studio interpretation.

Designed as part of the Studio Collections range, this texture works beautifully alongside the Iris Collection Table Setting and Platter, or as a standalone feature surface for jugs, vases, and slab-built vessels.

Suitable for slab-built pitchers, jugs, vases, layered glazing, oxide washes, and functional ceramics intended to work within a cohesive collection.

How To Use

Roll evenly into soft slab clay using consistent pressure. The composition is designed to suit a pitcher or vessel format while still allowing flexibility for cropping, shaping, handle placement, and individual studio interpretation.

A small amount of dark residue may appear during the first few uses as part of the laser production process. This burns out completely during firing.
