Full Texture Sheet — 370 × 370 mm
 
Yuletide is a full-sized Christmas texture inspired by original 1920s wrapping paper, redrawn and developed into a richly illustrated surface for clay.
 
The design brings together small festive scenes and motifs across the sheet, creating a pattern that feels collected rather than rigidly repeated. At 370 × 370 mm, there is enough room to use the complete design on large forms, while individual sections work beautifully when cropped for smaller pieces.
 
I designed Yuletide with a whole Christmas table in mind. Use it with masks for dinner and side plates, bowls, platters and serving dishes, then carry sections of the same texture onto pitchers, teapots, mugs, jugs, butter dishes, spoon rests or other pieces you want to bring to the table. Because different parts of the sheet can be selected for different forms, a full setting can coordinate without every piece being identical.
 
It also gives you plenty of room to play with finishing — one glaze across an entire set, picked-out details, washes caught in the texture, or different glaze treatments that link back to the same underlying design.
 
How to use
Roll your clay to your preferred thickness and press firmly and evenly onto the texture sheet. The large 370 × 370 mm working area allows you to texture a substantial slab first and then use your templates to choose exactly which section becomes each piece.
 
For coordinated tableware, try moving your templates around the sheet rather than always centering them in the same place. Plates, bowls and serving pieces can each capture a different part of Yuletide while still clearly belonging together.

Laser-engraved EVA foam texture sheet.
A dark residue may transfer to clay during the first few uses. This comes from the laser engraving process and will burn away completely during firing.
 
Care
Clean with mild soap and a soft brush when required. Allow to dry fully before storing flat.
Designed as part of a system
Yuletide is sized to work seamlessly with the Magpie Dinnerware System. Use it as an all-over surface, or combine it with masks and templates to frame sections, reserve areas, or align placement across a coordinated body of work.
