Welcome!
The new collection is now live.
Explore a new range of full-scale texture sheets, feature tools, and a modular dinnerware system — designed to work together and support cohesive, repeatable design across your work.
These tools are made for repeat use, variation, and long-term making — across dinnerware, vessels, cups, and everything in between.

Full Sized Texture Sheets
380x380mm
Full-sized sheets are the foundation of this release.
Designed for larger forms and uninterrupted surfaces, these textures allow you to work at scale without visible joins — ideal for plates, platters, jugs, pitchers, vases, and larger handbuilt forms.
Each sheet is designed to:
-
Repeat cleanly
-
Hold detail through forming
-
Work across multiple forms
One texture can be used again and again — pressed, framed, layered, masked, or left open — depending on how you choose to work with it.
These are workhorse tools, built for serious making.

Feature Sheets
Feature sheets are designed for moments where you want a texture to lead the form, rather than cover it completely.
They work best when used as a central element on plates, platters, or wide surfaces where the full pattern can be seen and appreciated. Feature sheets can also be framed, partially revealed, or paired with plain clay to create contrast and balance.
In this release, the mandala is the first feature sheet in the collection.
Its scale and symmetry allow it to work confidently as a full surface on platters, while also giving you the option to use it more selectively — as a focal point, a framed panel, or a compositional anchor within a larger piece.
Future feature sheets will expand this category, but the intent remains the same: designs that give structure and focus, without dictating how the rest of the form must be finished.

The Dinnerware System and Templates
All Magpie full-sized texture sheets are designed to work within the Magpie Dinnerware System — a modular set of masks and templates that help you create cohesive sets across plates, bowls, and serving ware.
The system allows you to:
-
Frame or reserve texture areas
-
Align designs consistently across sizes
-
Reuse the same masks across multiple textures
The goal isn’t uniformity — it’s visual coherence.
Start with a texture.
Add the system when you want to build sets.
Reuse it across your growing collection of tools.

Focal Accent Stamps
Focal accents are small tools designed to elevate a piece.
They work beautifully:
-
As a single point of focus
-
In combination with larger textures
-
As finishing details that bring intention and balance
Used well, these accents can change the entire read of a form — adding softness, contrast, or emphasis exactly where it’s needed.
They’re optional, flexible, and endlessly reusable.

Choose the tools that suit the way you work, and add to them as your practice evolves.
This release is about choosing tools that suit your work now — and knowing they’ll still make sense as your practice evolves.
Each texture, feature sheet, and system element is designed to stand alone, while also fitting into a larger way of working.
Start where it feels right.
Add pieces over time.
